All lanes of I-70 back open after flooding near Buckeye Lake

LICKING CO., OH (WCMH) — All lanes of I-70 in Licking County are back open after flooding Friday.

High waters closed I-70 East and I-70 West near Buckeye Lake Friday morning, but both directions are open as of Saturday morning.

Video from Chopper 4 showed backup in both directions of nearly 10 miles in length.

For the third day in a row, people at Buckeye Lake are trying to dry out. The water is finally starting to recede near some homes, but others say it may be a few days until they get relief.
