Amazon Prime members are able to download the Prime Now app and order essentials like paper towels, milk or ice cream, as well as electronics such as laptops and Kindle devices. Members can also shop on www.primenow.com.

Amazon first launched the service in 14 cities around the country in March. Amazon announced an expansion into Orlando on Tuesday and central Ohio on Wednesday.
Tuesday, Amazon released a video showing what it takes to launch one-hour shipping in a new city.
The service uses a network of independent contractors to make deliveries. Amazon Flex drivers make between $18 and $25 per hour and are dispatched using a smartphone, much like ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft.
