FORT WAYNE, IN (WANE)  Police are searching for two children believed to have been taken from an Allen County, Indiana home Monday morning. An Amber Alert was issued for the children early Monday afternoon.

According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, Amber Pasztor took the children, Liliana Hernandez, 7, and Rene Pasztor, 6, just after 6:00 a.m. Amber Pasztor is the biological mother of the children who are believed to be in danger.

Amber is believed to be with Frank Macomber, 65, and the two were last seen in a 1999 tan or silver Mercury Mystique with Indiana license plate 982MJS.  It’s not clear what the relationship is between Amber Pasztor and Macomber.

The cell phone of the person suspected of taking the children was last pinged near the NCG movie theater in Auburn near exit 329 on I-69.  A command center had been set up near the theater but a search of the area turned up nothing and the command center was disbanded.

Liliana is 3′ 4″ tall and weighs 43 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a black nightgown.  Rene is 3′ tall and weighs 39 pounds.  He was last seen wearing black shorts.

Amber Pasztor is 5′ 6″ tall and weighs 250 pounds.
