COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Halloween is almost here and stores are stocking their shelves with candy. Sweets will make 94.3 percent of Halloween purchases in the US this year, according to the National Retail Federation.
However, many residents in Ohio prefer a certain type of candy more than others. Influenster.com conducted a survey of 40,000 people to determine which candies were popular in different states.
The most popular Halloween candy in Ohio is Milky Way. The only other state to love the candy is Colorado.
As far as the most popular Halloween candy, that goes to Candy Corn. The sweet is so popular that it has it’s own national holiday on October 30.
