COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Students in central Ohio’s largest district are heading back to class today.
Around 51,000 students will make their way to classrooms all around Columbus. That means a hectic morning for parents and other drivers on the road.
New this year, a new Columbus City Schools transportation app is available to alert parents to any delays.
Remember, if you are behind the bus when the lights start flashing, you must prepare to stop. On two lane roads, drivers in both directions must stop.
School zones will be active, meaning the speed limit is 20mph while students are outside.
Expect delays as students and parents learn a new routine and get back into old routines.
