MOUNT VERNON, OH (WCMH)- The Knox County coroner says preliminary findings indicate the body recovered in a creek in Mount Vernon was that of missing woman Whitedove.
“No obvious signs of foul play were noted, no evidence of strangulation or fractures,” said Knox County Coroner Dr. Jennifer Ogle.
According to Ogle, there were multiple pill fragments found in Whitedove’s stomach that could indicate a possible overdose, but final test results could take eight weeks.
The body was found Tuesday afternoon and according to police, was badly decomposed.
Whitedove, which is the woman’s only name, was originally reported missing Monday.What others are clicking on:
