MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. (WKRN) – The body of a 22-year-old woman was found dismembered inside a container floating down the Green River in Kentucky.
According to the Kentucky State Police, someone was fishing near Johnson Springs Road in Hart County around 648 a.m. on Saturday when they reported they found a body.
When detectives arrived, they found the dismembered body inside a container floating in the river.
The victim was identified Tuesday as Kristen Edwards, 22, of Barren County.
Her death is being investigated as a murder, and the investigation is ongoing. Further details have yet to be released.
