COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Columbus Bomb Squad says nothing threatening was found in a suitcase found along Front Street.
According to Columbus Police, the suitcase was found near the 400 block of South Front Street around 4pm. Several blocks in the area are closed due to the situation.
According to the Columbus Division of Fire, a plastic suitcase was found on a sidewalk. The bomb squad deployed a robot and was used to investigate.
After determining that nothing threatening was inside, the scene was cleared around 5:30pm.
