ROCHESTER, NY (WCMH) – This should get you in the Christmas spirit, and give you some thirsty thoughts.

The Genesee Brewing Company in Rochester, New York is overflowing with holiday spirit as they lit up the town.

Hundreds of people flocked to see the annual lighting of the two-story beer keg tree. It’s made of 11 rows of more than 400 empty beer kegs.

It’s 100 kegs bigger than last year’s tree and includes a special Genesee brew house tree topper.

The company also introduced a new specialty beer to mark the occasion.

The keg tree is adorned with more than 2,000 twinkling lights synchronized to music.

All of the kegs will return to production once the tree is taken down.
