POWELL, OH (WCMH) – Police in Powell are reporting several burglaries at an area shopping center.
The burglaries were reported this morning at Liberty Square, located at 240 North Liberty Street.
Several businesses located in the shopping center had obvious signs of a break-in. Police confirmed the following businesses were hit:
- Powell Dry Cleaners
- Lon’s Wok Chinese Food
- Powell Hair Design
- Anne’s Kitchen
- Mojo Tago
- Azteca Mexican Grill
Police say the they were alerted by a burglary alarm around 4:00am this morning at Azteca. Officers responded within 38 seconds and found the door and window smashed, but no one was there.
While investigating, officers discovered five other burglaries.
A Facebook post from Anne’s Kitchen indicated they will be closed today and Saturday due to extensive damage from a break-in.
Police ask for patience this morning as they process the scenes. At this point, they do not have any suspects, but there may be surveillance video of the crime.What others are clicking on:
