MEDFORD, MA (WCMH) – New research suggests that eating butter does not increase the risk of heart disease.
The study was conducted by researchers at Tufts University and published today in the journal PLOS ONE.
Eating one to three tablespoons of butter per day did not significantly increase the risk of heart disease or early death. It even notes that butter eaters had a slightly decreased risk of developing diabetes
