COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A 12-year-old boy is in serious condition after being hit by a truck in Jackson Township
According the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 1:46pm on State Route 104 near State Route 665 in Franklin County.
Investigators said a 12-year-old boy was roller blading along the right side of the road when he came into the roadway and was struck by the pickup truck.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the boy was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in serious condition. Deputies said he was not wearing a helmet.
Part of SR 104 was closed in the area while police investigated.
