The City of Columbus has cancelled the nitrate advisory that was issued on June 8th.

According to an email, recent water samples taken by the city show, “nitrate levels below the standard or maximum contaminant level of 10 parts per million.”

The advisory, which was issued on June 8th, stated than tap water should not be consumed by infants or pregnant women due to a high percentage of nitrate in the water.

The city states it is no longer necessary for infants or pregnant women to use bottled water.
