CLEVELAND, Ohio (WCMH)–It’s a “ruff” job, but somebody has to do it.
An 11-week-old German Shepherd has become the newest addition to Cleveland Metroparks Ranger Department K-9 Unit. Tyson, Cleveland Metroparks’ newest Patrol and Explosives Canine Officer, raised his right paw alongside his partner, Ranger Trevor C. Poole, at the Board of Park Commissioners meeting.

According to a press release, Tyson will join three other K-9 officers in patrolling the Park District. It’s a big job for those (momentarily) little paws, as the District is 23,000 acres.
Tyson and Ranger Poole will respond to the Metroparks’ busiest activities, including concerts and sporting events.
