Columbus (WCMH) – This morning has nearly ideal conditions for a cold start, and Mother Nature delivered.   Clear skies, cool air mass, and no wind…. bingo!

This is actually not a record, or even uncommon, it is late October.   We hit 35° in Columbus, where the normal first date to hit freezing is the 27th of October, so this year will be later than normal.

This will most likely be our coldest morning for the rest of the month, as temps will warm up into November (?).  It was our coldest morning since May 16th (32°).Below is a list of the morning lows for Central & Southern Ohio in our area:
