COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Columbus Division of Police said SWAT officer have arrested two brothers who are believed to have robbed 5 local businesses recently.

They also robbed several women at knifepoint.

SWAT officers arrested 24-year-old Gregory Speakman and 29-year-old Christopher Speakman on Dec. 2, 2016 on aggravated robbery charges.

On November 21, police say the suspects robbed a 64-year-old woman and her 85-year-old mother. The suspects forced their way into the back seat of a vehicle at knifepoint, took money, and forced the women to take them to an ATM.

On November 29, police say the brothers approached a 30-year-old woman into her own vehicle at knifepoint, demanded she drive to an ATM, and took her cash.

In both these instances, police say the brothers took the victims’ cars.
