COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus Police say a 15-year-old girl was hurt in a shooting on the southeast side Thursday night when someone fired shots into her home.
Police and EMS were called to the 3100 block of Somerset Court South for the report of a shooting around 9:38pm.
Police say 15-year-old Wilahelmina Barnett, was asleep in bed when someone in an unknown vehicle fired multiple shots at her home. She was hit one time in the lower leg.
Officers say she was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in stable condition.
The shooting is under investigation.
