COLUMBUS (WCMH) — As ITT Technical Institute closes its doors for good, Columbus State Community College is offering students some help switching schools.
ITT Tech announced Tuesday that it will immediately cease offering classes due sanctions by the federal government.
Columbus State announced Wednesday that ITT Tech and American School of Technology students can contact the school now to enroll for spring semester. The school is offering individual $500 scholarships to aid the students in making the transition.
In a statement, Columbus State said, “Columbus State advisors stand ready to work with students to develop academic and financial plans that put them on a path to completion of a degree. It offers many of the same programs in fields including Computer Science, Health and Criminal Justice. In addition, Columbus State will offer individual $500 scholarships to aid ITT Tech and AST students making the transition to the college. “
