PIKE COUNTY, Ohio (WCMH)–The Pike County Sheriff says that Orville Lee Mullett, an escaped inmate, was captured late Saturday night. The sheriff sites a coordinated effort by the Pike County Sheriff’s Department and Waverly police.
According to the Athens County Sheriff Mullett, 26, of Piketon, an inmate of the SEPTA Correctional Facility, walked away from a job site Wednesday.
Deputies believed Mullett may have been with his girlfriend, who is also from Piketon.
According to court records, Mullett was most recently charged with illegal manufacture of drugs.
According to SEPTA’s website, the facility houses 106 non-violent, non-dangerous adult male offenders who are eligible for probation.
