Police are investigating after a rape was reported near south campus early Saturday morning.

According to the Ohio State University Police Department, the assault happened near 8^th Avenue and Neil Avenue around 1:30am Saturday. The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s. He has a slim build and was wearing an NBA /Jordan shirt. Police say the suspect showed the victim a weapon.
