DARWIN, Australia (WCMH) – Police in Australia say they are looking for four people who let three crocodiles loose in a high school administration office Sunday.
Security footage shows four people with their heads covered forcing a hold through the window of the school’s office.
They then pushed the crocodiles in, ransacked the office and left.
Police said the mouths of the crocodiles were taped shut and they were malnourished when they were rescued.
“The ranger that turned up was very concerned for them, they had their mouths taped shut obviously, so the males were concerned for their safety, as well. They’re in very poor shape, they haven’t seen water for a long time, they’re undernourished,” said Senion Constable David Gregory, Northern Territory Police.
Police are not sure where the crocodiles came from.
The longest of them measured six and a half feet long.
