RINCON, Mexico (WCMH) — Pope Francis will receive a special Mexican sombrero during his visit to Mexico this month.

The Salazar Yepez Hat Factory has finished the custom-made sombrero which will be given to the Pope during his visit which begins on February 12.

The hat is adorned with flags of all Latin American countries, an embroidered Vatican shield and Our Lady of Guadalupe.

The factory has produced hats for three generations and previously made sombreros for Pope John Paul II and Benedict XVI when they visited Mexico.

The small factory produces around 600 hats per week.
