ORANGE TWP., Ohio (WCMH) — The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in solving two armed robberies at the same business.

It happened twice at the 23 Drive-Thru within 6 days. The first robbery happened on Saturday, July 9th and the second on Friday, July 15th.

“Automatic pistol, pointed right at my face, demanded the money,” says employee Jodi Bennett. “When I was stalling, he pointed the gun right in my face and said you’re going to die for another man’s money.”

Bennett had only been working there about two weeks when he was robbed at gunpoint.

“He kept demanding the cash, seemed to know where the cameras were at,” he says.

Bennett says he eventually opened the register.

“He fled on foot. They say he cut a hole next door in the chain link fence,” he says.

No one was hurt in either incident, but Bennett says the first time it happened the robber threatened a young boy.

“The guy pointed the gun at the little boy and said I’m sorry about the kid but I have a bad drug problem, give me all the money,” he says.

The man was wearing a ski mask and dark clothing.
