Deputies: Couple arrested for selling drugs with kids in car

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – A couple is under arrest after they sold cocaine to undercover detectives multiple times from their car with children in it, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened on four separate occasions in May, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. Destiny Dexter, 26, and Reginald Frazier, 29, met with the undercover detectives and sold them cocaine in the 3000 block of 17th Street. Each time they had at least two children in their vehicle, deputies said. And the last time there were four children under the age of 5 in the backseat.


The couple sold a total of 2 grams of cocaine worth about $400.

Dexter and Fraizer were arrested and charged with two counts each of Sale of Cocaine and two counts each of Child Neglect.

They are both held at the Sarasota County Jail without bond.What others are clicking on:
