The city said this new building will house Building and Zoning, Public Service, Development and some Public Utility offices, creating a “one-stop shop” for contractors.

An accompanying seven-story parking garage will be completed in January 2018. The parking garage will have 707 spaces and will also offer bicycle parking.

The expected cost is $73 million, and the adjoining garage is budgeted at $17 million.
