COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Police have identified the driver who they believe hit and killed a woman as she crossed Brice Road on Monday.
Police say 65-year-old Clifford Flint was driving the vehicle that hit and killed 21-year-old Amy Stewart.
It happened shortly before 6am Monday on Brice Road between I-70 and Tussing Road.
According to police, Stewart was crossing Brice Road when she was struck by a silver van or SUV. Police said the driver stopped, got out of his vehicle and looked it over for damage before getting back in and driving off.
Steward was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the vehicle has been impounded. No charges have been filed at this point in the investigation.What others are clicking on:
