COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Surveillance camera footage got a good look at an east Columbus robber, but investigators are trying to get more information on the man who stole several electronics from a home.

Camera footage captured the unidentified man entering the back of a home in the 400 block of Ashburton Road at about 7:30 pm March 1. The suspect quickly notices the camera positioned near a television. He approached it and moved it, but not before it got a few look at the man’s face.
Before the suspect left, the camera caught him moving around the house and taking another large TV and a computer laptop. The camera also captured the serial number of one of the TVs He was also seen carrying a dark bag over his right shoulder, which may have contained other items from the home.
Investigators believe the man may live in the area because he is seen making several trips in and out of the home.

The suspect is described as a black male between 20 and 30 years old with facial hair. He was seen wearing a light-colored hoodie, sweat pants, and Nike tennis shoes. He initially was not wearing gloves, but after his first trip he reentered the home wearing dark gloves on both hands.
