JERSEY CITY, NJ (WCMH)– The Easter bunny and the man he fought at a New Jersey mall were in court Tuesday, facing charges of disorderly conduct and aggravated assault.

According to WABC, 22-year-old Kassim Charles was dressed as the bunny when a 1-year-old girl slipped from his lap. Juan Jimenez, 44, the girl’s father, went after Charles.

After investigating the fight, police found both men have outstanding warrants.

Now both men contend it was the other that started the brawl that went viral after video of it was posted to Twitter.

“Obviously, this was an unfortunate incident on a day that should’ve been happy for all,” the public defender who represents both men told WABC.What others are clicking on:
