DELAWARE CO., OH (WCMH) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol now says a crash reported on September 14th happened sometime after August 20th.

The crash was reported around 9am Thursday just north of the U.S. 36/37 interchange. The Patrol says 27-year-old Chelsea Dowler of Springfield was driving a 1993 Dodge Dakota.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that vehicle traveled off the east side of the road, striking a tree and a fence before coming to rest in a corn field.

When NBC4 asked about the timeline and for additional details about the crash, The Ohio State Highway Patrol said “We believe the crash occurred sometime after 8/20.
