Investigators say a fight between a father and son in Mifflin Township resulted in one man being hospitalized with critical injuries.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at 2:21 a.m. at a home on the 2900 block of Perdue Avenue in Mifflin Township.

A detective on the scene told NBC4 that a fight between a father and son turned violent, leading to the father doing something that caused a serious head injury.

The father then asked a neighbor to call 911, investigators said.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation was called to help investigate.

Investigators say that the victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.

The father was taken to the Sheriff’s office for questioning. Detectives say that he could face domestic violence charges.
