COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A southeast Columbus restaurant was heavily damaged early Tuesday.

The fire was first reported around 2:15am at the Azou restaurant in the Crossroads East shopping center at 4401 Crossroads Center.

When firefighters arrived they saw fire coming from the front of the building.

According to firefighters, the fire appeared to start in the front of the dining room near the windows and spread into the roof.
