REYNOLDSBURG, OH (WCMH) — Fire crews responded the report of an explosion in Reynoldsburg tonight.
At about 9pm, Thursday, crews were called to Century City and Brice Road on the report of an explosion.
People affected by the explosion were transported to Herbert Mills Elementary School according to a spokesperson with Reynoldsburg schools.
The Central Ohio chapter of the American Red Cross is on hand to provide assistance and support to those people displaced by the explosion. The Red Cross says it will continue to work one-on-one with residents to meet all emergency needs and provide shelter, if necessary.
Columbus fire says they have been called to the scene for support.
People are reporting they heard the explosion as far away as Pickerington.
