TOLEDO, OH (WCMH) – Firefighters in Toledo were able to rescue a dog from a burning home by performing CPR on the pooch.
The fire started this morning at a home on the south side of Toledo, according to WNWO.
No people were inside, but firefighters found three dogs in the burning home. Firefighters were able to rescue one of the dogs.
The fire department shared a photo of firefighters performing CPR on that dog outside the home.
Two other dogs were killed in the fire.
The house sustained severe damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
