POWELL, Ohio (WCMH)–A former Delaware County business owner has been indicted after allegedly raping and providing illegal substances to five female victims.
Investigators says Danny Kitsos plied his young female employees with alcohol and drugs and then allegedly had sex with them.

Kitsos was indicted in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas on charges of rape; unlawful sexual conduct with a minor; underage persons offenses (giving alcohol to a minor); selling, purchasing, distributing, or delivering dangerous drugs; sexual battery; and compelling prostitution.
Kitsos is the former owner of Rita’s Italian Ice in Powell, Delaware County Prosecutor Carol O’Brien confirmed.
“One of the girls disclosed to her parents what was going on and they contacted law enforcement,” she said.
“Mr. Kitsos gave these girls alcohol and drugs and then would engage in sexual conduct.”
All five victims were under 18 at the time of the crimes and were employees of Rita’s. One was between the ages of 13 and 16, according to the indictment.
The charges date from Sept. 2012 to Oct. 2015.
“When you look at a case like this that has the very severe charges the high-level charges and the risk of continuing that kind of conduct and you want to get that case started and going so you are protecting the public,” O’Brien said.
The current owner of Rita’s put out a statement on Facebook Friday afternoon.
