Franklin County Public Health schedules more mosquito spraying

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — After more mosquitoes tested positive for the West Nile Virus, the Franklin County Public Health Department has scheduled spraying for several central Ohio communities.

According to FCPH, they have been actively trapping mosquitoes throughout the county since mid-May and will be spraying to reduce the number of adult mosquitoes in the area.


The spraying schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, July 20

Thursday, July 21

The spraying is schedule to being at about 9pm, depending on weather.

FCPH says it is a good reminder for residents to take precautionary steps to protect themselves and their families.
