Take your little gardeners to the Lowe’s planting station to grow something of their very own, and grab a balloon animal. ‘Commons for Kids’ is each Friday from 10am to 1pm.

Uber is celebrating the Buckeye Country Superfest by delivering City Barbeque pulled-pork sandwiches for FREE. I repeat: BARBEQUE DELIVERED FOR FREE. It’s this Friday only. Just open your Uber app from 11am to 1pm and order your sandwiches. (Limit of 3 per customer)

‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’

See a movie this Saturday! The Gateway Film Center has partnered with the Columbus Metropolitan Library to feature films adapted from classic literary pieces! Check out ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ at 1550 North High Street at 11am. The movie is free for everyone with a library card. The ‘Book to Film’ series runs through August 4.

Fly Fishing

It’s your last chance to take advantage of this free opportunity! Take the Orvis Fly Fishing 101 class this Saturday and leave with the basics of fly fishing, casting and outfit rigging. Spaces in the class are limited so be sure to call and reserve your spot.

Running at the Blacklick Woods Metro Park

Columbus Children’s Festival

Celebrate youth and family sports this Saturday! Head to Fred Beekman Park and enjoy a day of sports, dancing, games and entertainment. Admission is free and parking is just $5.

Stargazing Saturday Night

Head to Glacier Ridge Metro Park and enjoy planet watching and stargazing. You’ll get the chance to use telescopes and binoculars to see planets and stars beginning at 9pm.
