MILITARY DISCOUNTS
It’s a time to soak up the freedom, and these awesome people are reason we can! Many are offering free admission to say ‘thank you’ this weekend!
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium
All members of the military and their immediate family can visit the zoo for free July 2-4. Parking is not included. You must show I.D. and veterans must show proof of service.
Cedar Point
All active, retired and honorably discharged members receive free admission July 1-4. Immediate family members can get discounted tickets for just $43 each.
King’s Island
Military members get in for FREE July 2-4. Up to six family members get discounted tickets for $29.99 each.
INDEPENDENCE DAY WEEKEND FREEBIES
Bring on the fireworks, face paint and patriotism! July 4th may not come until Monday, but this weekend is PACKED with celebration!
Red, White & BOOM
IT’S FINALLY HERE! Join the other over 400,000 people who know #BOOM16 will be EPIC. Mark your spot early and enjoy the live entertainment, food, and parade! Then settle in and prepare yourself for the biggest fireworks display in OHIO.
Celebrate Our Independence
Head over to Reynoldsburg tonight for a festival at Civic Park from 6pm until 10pm. Fireworks start at 9:45pm.
Whitehall 4th of July Celebration
Check out the traditional carnival tonight from 4pm until 11pm. On Saturday, enjoy the WCCA Family Fun Festival at the park from 11am until 3pm and Sunday means fireworks at 10pm! Free Zumba
It’s a new month, and a new opportunity to recommit to your workout! Head to Village Green Park Saturday morning for a free Zumba class from 10am until 11am. No registration is necessary so just drop in and get your sweat on!
Experience the Farm
Calling all early risers! Join a farmer at Slate Run Farm to feed the animals and finish the barnyard chores. The event starts at 9am.
Catch Fireflies
Capture some magic in a jar this Saturday. Join the staff at Blacklick Woods Park and catch fireflies while you learn a thing or two about the insects.
Gallery Hop
It’s the first Saturday in July which means it’s time to get classy and look at some awesome art. Head to High St. and the Short North to enjoy the hop!
