COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Three people escaped without injuries after someone fired more than a dozen shots at their car in west Columbus.
It happened around 11pm behind a home on the 2200 block of Sullivant Avenue.
According to Columbus police, J’Kuan Wells, 24, Shania Thomas, 19, and Mah’Lom Ransom, 22, were sitting in a car behind a relative’s house when someone started shooting.
Neighbors described hearing around 20 shots.
The car was struck at least three times, but nobody inside was injured.
Police swarmed the area with guns drawn just after the shooting, hoping to find the shooter. No suspects have been identified.
