LICKING CO., OH (WCMH) – Interstate 70 has reopened in eastern Franklin and western Licking counties after a fatal accident.

The crash happened around 9am Sunday in the eastbound lanes of I-70 past State Route 256.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a Ford F-350 driven by Spencer Green of Connellsville, Pennsylvania rear-ended a Kenworth commercial truck. The Patrol says Green did not leave enough room between his vehicle and the truck.

The truck driver was wearing a seat belt. The Patrol says it is unclear if Green was wearing his.
