COLUMBUS (WCMH) – The northbound lanes of Interstate 71 between North Broadway Street and Morse Road have reopened following a multi-vehicle crash.
The accident happened around 4:53am Sunday. According to the Columbus Division of Police, multiple people were trapped inside the vehicles involved, including a tractor trailer. One of the vehicles ended up wedged beneath the rear end of the semi’s trailer.
At least one person was transported to an area hospital. There is no word on the severity of the injuries of those involved.
