COLUMBUS, OH (WCMH) — Columbus Arson investigators are working to track down an arsonist they say is responsible for four fires in a near east side neighborhood.

According to fire officials the fires were set between 3:30am and 6:30amThursday morning.

Three vacant homes and a detached garage were damaged. The four locations include 88 Linwood Ave., 1381 E. Mound St., 27.5 Latta Ave. and 1096 Franklin Ave.

Arson investigators are speaking to witnesses and gathering security camera footage from neighboring homes.

The owner of the garage on Linwood Avenue that was set on fire did not want to be identified but said, “I was more concerned about my neighbor cause it looked like the trees were on fire and it looked like the flames were going over into the next house.”
