COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Investigators are asking for more help solving a homicide case spanning more than 11 years.
A vehicle with four people inside was parked on or near Arkwood Avenue in east Columbus at about 9:20pm on March 8, 2005, according to investigators. A male suspect approached the passenger side of the car and started speaking to the people inside.
Witnesses told investigators that the suspect suddenly and without warning backed away from the car as two other people rushed towards the vehicle with shotgun. They fired at the car.
The driver, Ronald Bradley Jr., was one of several people struck in the gunfire. Bradley crashed the vehicle into a residence at 1228 Arkwood Avenue.
The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, but Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene.
