COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Reports of a green light being pointed toward planes coming into the John Glenn Columbus International Airport led State Troopers to the Ohio State Fairgrounds late Thursday night.

State Troopers got the call that a laser light was being pointed at planes just after midnight. They were able to locate the source of the light at a campground just east of Korbel Avenue at the fairgrounds.

Troopers found three juvenile males and questioned them about the reports. One boy admitted to shining a green laser into the sky. Troopers took the laser and contacted the boys’ guardians.

Troopers say the incident is still under investigation at this time and no one has been charged
