BLOOMINGTON, IN (WISH) – Indiana University Football coach Kevin Wilson is out, according to sources at the university.
WISH-TV sports reporter Chris Widlic confirmed the news on Thursday. A news conference is scheduled for 6 p.m..
Wilson recently signed a six year contract extension that is worth $15.3 million. It’s not clear what the reason is for Wilson being fired.
Wilson has coached the team for six years. The last two seasons were 6-6 bowl seasons, that hasn’t happened in years, Widlic says.
