Major ramp closures on State Route 315 will affect many drivers’ commutes through November and beyond.
The main exit from SR-315 North to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is closed until mid-August, and today the main entrance ramp from Cannon Drive and 12th Avenue closes.
Drivers leaving the hospital will need to take Neil Avenue or King Avenue to Olentangy River Road in order to get to SR-315. The ramp is expected to be closed until November.
Additionally, the small stretch of Cannon Drive to Herrick Drive will be closed until 2019. That closure will affect those who use some of the shuttles and parking garages. Make sure to follow signs and instructions to navigate several variables that could change your normal shuttle or garage access.
Heavy traffic is expected on Herrick Drive and Neil Avenue during the construction, so drivers should anticipate delays and allow additional time for travel.
