COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – From taco specials and a free outdoor movie, to the Columbus Clippers and the annual Columbus Arts Festival, here are things to see and do this weekend in central Ohio.
Clippers vs. Mud Hens

- The Columbus Clippers face the Toledo Mud Hens in a six-game series through June 8.

Columbus Taco Week
Happening through June 7
- Eat delicious taco specials from several participating restaurants in the Columbus area through June 7. The event benefits Feed the Kids Columbus.
Columbus Arts Festival
Downtown Columbus, June 6-8
- Check out more than 230 exhibits featuring artists, hands-on activities for kids, performances, galleries and much more. Festival hours are Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Easton’s Friday Night Flicks
Town Square, June 6 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
- Throughout June, watch an outdoor movie at Easton Town Center. This week’s flick is Wicked, Part 1. Showtime is 7 p.m., but guests can arrive at 6. The event is free for all.

Delaware Pride Festival
Boardman Arts Park, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The event is free and open to all ages, featuring more than 80 vendors. The festival features a wide array of entertainment options, including performances, drag shows, and children’s activities such as crafts, games, story times and more.
AAMWA Dads Matter Day
Franklin Park, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The free event will feature all things for dads including fishing, a cookout, family car show and much more.
Motivation at the Station
Hilliard Station Park, June 7
- Enjoy free fitness classes at Hilliard Station Park with strength training at 7 a.m. and yoga at 8 a.m. Classes are 50 minutes. Just bring a mat and water.
NAMIWalks Franklin County
Scioto Audubon Metro Park, June 7 at 9 a.m.
- Join several residents and advocates across Franklin County in the NAMIWalks, raising awareness for mental health. Registration starts at 8 a.m. with an opening ceremony at 9 a.m. There is no registration fee, but fundraising is encouraged.
Ohio State Healthy Community Day Health Fair
543 Taylor Avenue, June 7 from 9 a.m. to noon
- Check out the free annual health fair focused on providing education on simple ways to improve your health and well-being. The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and non-profit organizations will offer wellness information, resources and free screening. Patrons can also find free produce, cooking and exercise demonstrations, family-friendly activities, entertainment and more.
Smash the Stigma Pickleball Open
The Pickle Shack in Delaware, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Enjoy a day full of local vendors, food and pickleball. The event starts at 9 a.m. with vendors and a free pickleball clinic. All proceeds benefit programs of Maryhaven and Netcare.
