Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Festival
Bexley Public Library, May 16 from 6 to 8 p.m.
- Celebrate Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month at the Bexley Public Library. The library parking lot will be filled with food trucks, cultural celebrations, art and more.
Buckeye Lake Pirate Fest
Buckeye Lake, May 16-18
- This adult and family-friendly festival will feature three days of events, 100 vendors to check out, treasure hunt, entertainment and much more.
RMHC Handbag Hullabaloo
Crown Mercedes Benz of Dublin, May 16 from 6 to 9 p.m.
- Gather your friends for a night of fun and a chance to win designer handbags like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tory Burch and more. Funds raised during the event will benefit core programs of the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio.
The King Arts Complex Gala
Hollywood Casino, May 16 at 7 p.m.
- The 38th Anniversary Gala is set for May 16 at 7 p.m. at the Hollywood Casino. This year’s gala will honor U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty for her community contributions and support of the King Arts Complex. The gala is the Complex’s annual celebration and fundraiser, supporting youth arts programs and performances while uplifting remarkable community leaders.
2025 Komen Columbus Race for the Cure
North Bank Park, May 17
- The 2025 Komen Columbus Race for the Cure will take place May 17, uniting survivors, families and advocates in a powerful movement to fund research, provide patient support, and drive meaningful change for those impacted by breast cancer. The race site opens at 7 a.m. with the opening ceremony at 8:10 a.m.

Zoombezi Bay opening day
4850 Powell Rd, Powell, May 17 at 11 a.m.
- Zoombezi Bay’s preview weekend for passholders begins May 17 at 11 a.m. The waterpark will also be open on May 18. It will then close until May 24, when it will open to the public.
New Albany Founders Day
May 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Celebrate New Albany with a day full of festivities, activities and entertainment throughout the area. Events will start at the New Albany Intermediate School and end at the Church of the Resurrection. Enjoy rides, games, vendors and much more.
Crew vs. FC Cincinnati
Lower.com Field, May 17 at 7 p.m.
- The Hell is Real matchup is back in Columbus, as the Crew will take on FC Cincinnati.

Delaware Arts Festival
Downtown Delaware, May 17-18
- Enjoy two days of art, fun, food and entertainment the whole family can enjoy. Several artists will line both sides of Sandusky and East and West Winter streets, exhibiting creative work including jewelry, leather creations, tie-dye art, pottery, paintings and photography. Food trucks, concessions and entertainment are scheduled for South Sandusky Street.
