At Schreiner Ace Hardware, employees spent part of Thursday setting up their sled display and assisting a number of customers.

“We’ve been selling a lot of ice melt,” said Tom Walton, a store cashier. “We just got the sleds put out. We’ve got different roof melters there that we’ve sold one or two of, but mainly ice melt is the biggest seller.”

Walton said the store has an ample amount of supplies in stock, with more product expected to arrive in the days to come.

“With the snow coming in, we plan on selling pretty much everything we have and then get another shipment in tomorrow,” he said. “It’ll go right through the weekend selling sleds, ice melt and all that.”
