COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A sandwich shop will open the doors to its Clintonville location on Saturday.

Wario’s Beef and Pork announced the opening of its new store this week after initially declaring its plans to open the restaurant in December. The location is at 4219 N. High St. in Clintonville.

Founded by chef Stephan Madias, Wario’s is a chef-driven, East Coast-inspired sandwich shop. In the December announcement of the Clintonville location, Wario’s hinted that its new store will feature some unique options.

“Keep a look out for weekly drops of new menu items that will be exclusive to the new shop,” Wario’s said in a December social media post.

As the sandwich shop nears its opening, Wario’s is holding a raffle, with winners being awarded one free sandwich a week for a year. Interested customers can go to the original store, located in the Arena District, and buy any sandwich to receive a ticket for the drawing.
