COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — An apartment complex bordering Columbus and Canal Winchester has been sold for $40 million.

The Moors at Countryview, located along Cross Ridge Lane, were recently sold to an LLC with a connection to global investment manager Nuveen. A spokesperson for the firm confirmed the acquisition and said current residents of the apartments will not be displaced by the change of ownership.

“Our investment in The Moors in Columbus, Ohio, underscores our commitment to improving the communities and neighborhoods where we invest,” a spokesperson for the firm said. “We look forward to enhancing our residents’ homes while ensuring they remain comfortably in place during any necessary renovations.”

A representative of The Moors declined to comment on its sale.

The complex, located off Gender Road, has six floor plans, from one to three bedrooms. Rent varies between $935 and $1,300 a month, and amenities include a pool, fitness center, clubhouse and playground.
